Nancy Ann Kenney
A photo of Nancy taken by the web keeper in about 1953 at the McConkey farm Technical data for photo: Film Ansco Color 35-mm reversal film ASA 8 speed. Camera Argus A2. The film was developed at home in Zanesville using out of date Ansco Chemicals. The slide is bound in glass and was easily scanned at 2400 dpi 24 bit color. Except for a slight color shift adjustment for the image dyes aging, it is exactly as scanned. Life has not always been easy for Nancy. Uncle Flavil said it best when he first saw our first born Beth Ann. Upon determining that she was a girl baby he stated we just as well feed her to the hogs. That is how thinking runs in some farm families. Bitterness and misunderstanding over property division set in and brought sorrow to all are close to Nancy. We can find love in places we never would expect to find love. In this case it was in a metal storage box containing a number of glass covered slides bound with special tape to seal the film from change. The slide says what I wish to say with a big hug. Nancy, I love you! Always Under Construction © 2001 - 2006 All Rights Reserved Notice: All photos and other materials are copyrighted by the Smith Reunion Organization.
