I am sure glad everyone made it home safe and sound after the get together on July 14, 2001. It sure was good to see a lot of old friends and make some new life long friends.
Below is an accounting of your money—we sure did quite well.
I am sure hoping we don’t need any more flower fund money before this time next year. Silent keys are a sad thing. We miss all of those that are not with us on the air.

It is noted that the MACK trucks many of us liked as the old R model are gone. Some high school kid type engineers reduce the oil pump size to save energy and the Jacobs Engine Brake woild not work. The kids tried tightening up engine bearing clearance to fix the problem. Enough trouble for any wiorking man. Now a dependable CAT engine is at Jim's Command on Mount Roads Hauling Timber.
